Starting in 2009 as a Barista, Aga learn to make coffee
using an espresso fully automatic machine. Becoming
more knowledgeable about coffee while working
at a coffee shop, Aga has always had a keen interest
with the technical aspects of coffee making.
After two years being a Barista with deeper knowledge
and improved coffee skills, he decide to compete at
the “Latte Art Throwdown” in 2012. Winning the 1st
position on his first Latte Art competition, he gained
confidence developing an ambition to become a world
class barista. Joining the “Indonesia Barista Competition
2013”, Aga was well prepared and become quite an expert
in coffee processing. He pursued his passion to become
number one barista in the Jakarta region. Aga has also
represented Indonesia in “ASEAN Barista Championship
2013”, which was held in Bangkok, Thailand. His other
achievement this year was winning the 1st position
in “V60 Battle Throwdown 2013”.
