Watch Kelly’s quest to learn the true story of coffee. She heads to Colombia, the land of Juan Valdez, to learn not only how coffee beans are grown, but to also explore the deeper connection between coffee and the people who grow it.

Then, she gets to experience the challenge of harvesting coffee beans in the mountains. She also gets a wake-up call about the economics of the industry and learns how the harvested beans are exported throughout the world.

Kelly concludes her coffee discovery journey back home in the United States. She visits HC Valentine in Alabama to learn first-hand how important the roasting process is to great coffee. After taste-testing her own roast, she learns how beans from around the world are blended to make a fabulous cup o’ joe.
