The Brewista Smart Scale II scale occupies an interesting place in the realm of scales designed for coffee and espresso use.
It’s not the cheapest, by far; nor is it the most expensive, by far. It has a ton of features, but doesn’t have any kind of connectivity or apps for iOS or Android.
Brewista’s an interesting company: founded by coffee loving engineers back in 2014, they have been focusing on niche products for high end specialty coffee brewing, both in the home and in the cafe. They are better known for their lineup of cold brew products, pour over kettles, cupping tools and filters. They do design and manufacture many of the products they sell, but early on, they were selling third party products that they had a hand in designing, but did not manufacture.
Scales are a more recent venture for Brewista, and they currently have several offerings, including: the original Brewista Smart Scale, the Brewista Ratio scale, and the scale that’s the subject of this review: the Brewista Smart Scale II.
