Bottom Line:	The most beautiful espresso machine on the market that makes stellar coffee. It has all of the controls and bonus features, like pressure profiling, that make it the ideal machine for beginners and pros alike.

Positive Product Points

This machine looks beautiful and makes consistently great coffee. It is very silent in its operation and is easy to operate. I love the external tank which can be relocated depending upon your counter space from the rear to the left or right side. This is convenient and has the added benefit of keeping the water in the tank a cooler temperature.

Negative Product Points

I wish the Bianca would issue a low water warning *before* it actually runs out of the water. I’ve had several sad mornings where my machine turned on at its scheduled time but did not pre-heat because the tank was empty. If it had an indicator to tell me when the tank was low, before becoming empty, then that would never happen to me.

Detailed Commentary

I am a complete novice at making my own espressos and ultimately chose the Bianca because it’s a machine that is easy to use and it has all of the bells and whistles like a shot timer, pressure profiler, dual boiler, PID control, and more that I’m eager to fiddle with in time as I experiment and go deeper down the rabbit hole of learning to pull the perfect shot of espresso. This is a machine that I can learn with and not out grow.

When not making espresso the machine serves as a gorgeous sculpture on my counter top. The Bianca is well designed aesthetically (it’s gorgeous) and practically with that moveable external water tank and shock-isolated parts to minimize vibration and noise when in use. I’ve set my Bianca on a smart plug that turns on and off on a schedule so it’s nice and hot in the morning for that first shot. When you use a scheduled plug, a surge protector is a must and I’m using this one from Amazon “Woods 41008 Surge Protector One 3-Prong Power Outlet LED Indicator Light and Alarm, 1080J, White”. It’s the smallest 1080j unit that I’ve found and it fits nicely under the water tank.
