How to Start Growing Coffee Trees (from Coffee Beans)

We grow coffee trees in the Secret Greenhouse of Survival, and we harvest coffee cherries (the fruit) which contains the coffee beans, to not only make coffee, but also to grow more coffee trees.

Have you ever known anyone to say that they would “die for a cup of coffee”? Well we grow our own- even in the Appalachian Mountains of the US, so we will never want for having coffee.

Plus in a grid down scenario- coffee is a great comfort food and morale booster.

We are now growing about 50 coffee trees year round in our greenhouse, all from the fruit of our first tree.
