From time to time I prefer to make an espresso using traditional Italian stovetop coffee maker. I have several of those, but the best results I’m getting from Bialetti Brikka – this one has a special patented valve which produces more crema. It’s not a crema that you get from the modern espresso machine, but the taste is really good, especially if you ready to wait about 4 minutes after the espresso is poured into the cup. I don’t know why, but this improves the taste.
And, additionally to this, I’ve used a French Press to make a latte.
