Positive Product Points

Pressure profiling is awesome. The steam pressure is amazing for 110v. The digital PID is intuitive. The ability to plumb or tank is great.

Negative Product Points

Had a plastic y connector inside (overflow from steam boiler) that disintegrated causing the machine to leak everywhere.

Detailed Commentary

What more can I say?! This machine will make you look like a hero. Pair it with a good grinder and you don’t need to go back to your local cafe. I think price/feature/value/quality cannot be beat. The ability to pressure profile is fun to play around with. I was able to take a very lackluster coffee bean and find the “sweet spot”. It has all the features of a commercial machine in a consumer package. It has the ability to be plumbed or tank (in multiple locations) and can also be hooked up to a drain. The rotary pump is quiet and the 2+ bar pressure is clutch. I love the digital display. Easy to navigate and very intuitive. It can also be programmed for custom preinfusions as well. A coffee geeks machine for sure. It reminds me of Apple products…can be used as a basic tool or you can dive see and “see where the rabbit hole takes you.” I highly recommend.

The product/customer support at 1st Line is top notch. Java Jim is the backbone of that company.
