Coffee Desserts

Time for another Torani Friday! This time around we are using their newest flavor Pistachio! This syrup is super delicious and I have plans to use it in some upcoming videos for the holiday season! This will be a delicious addition to any pistachio flavored dessert! Affogato is Italian for “drowned”. In this case, what is being drowned is some ice cream. Traditionally this is made with vanilla ice cream, hot espresso and chocolate shavings or sauce. I have taken creative license and created this pistachio version that is so delicious any coffee fan is going to love this dessert!

I started out with a couple scoops of pistachio almond ice cream, topped with a shot of strong brewed coffee left over from that morning and about a tablespoon of Torani pistachio syrup. To gild the lily added a bit of chocolate sauce and a sprinkle of chopped pistachios. This was so delicious, for a dessert that will also satisfy your coffee craving!

I hope you give this Affogato a try or create your own flavor combination some time soon and I hope you love it!

Happy Eating!
